Children's dental needs are different from adults', from monitoring the eruption of baby and permanent teeth to building comfort and confidence around dental visits. Our pediatric dentistry focuses on gentle, preventive care in a calm, child-friendly environment.
Routine check-ups and gentle cleaning
Fluoride treatments to strengthen young enamel
Dental sealants for cavity prevention on molars
Cavity treatment and early decay management
Habit counseling (thumb-sucking, pacifier use, mouth breathing)
Guidance on teething, tooth eruption, and early orthodontic concerns
Most dental associations recommend a child's first dental visit by their first birthday, or within six months of their first tooth appearing, earlier than many parents expect. Early visits help catch issues sooner and get children comfortable with dental care from the start.
We create a positive, low-anxiety dental experience, using age-appropriate explanations, a patient pace, and a friendly environment, that builds lifelong healthy habits rather than dental fear.
A routine check up and cleaning typically costs around ₹1000.
It's easy to think milk teeth don't matter because they fall out anyway. They do matter. They help your child chew and speak, and they hold space so permanent teeth can come in straight. A decayed baby tooth can cause pain and infection, and it can affect the permanent tooth growing underneath.
Brush twice a day. Use a smear of fluoride toothpaste, about the size of a grain of rice, until age 3, then a pea-sized amount
Help your child brush until they can tie their own shoelaces, usually around 7 or 8
Keep sweets, sticky snacks and juices to mealtimes rather than all day
Don't let a baby sleep with a bottle of milk or juice
Ask us about sealants for the back molars, which have deep grooves where food collects
If a permanent tooth is knocked out, pick it up by the crown (the white part), not the root. Don't scrub it. Put it in milk, or keep it in the cheek if your child is old enough not to swallow it, and see a dentist straight away. Time matters. A knocked-out baby tooth should not be pushed back in, but do get your child checked.
Talk about the dentist in a cheerful, matter-of-fact way and skip words like hurt, pain or needle
Book a time when your child is well rested and not hungry
Expect the first visit to be mostly looking, counting teeth and getting comfortable in the chair
Never use a dental visit as a threat or a punishment
Read our guide to your child's first dental visit, and ask about custom mouth guards for sport.
